I don't agree. Smiley's leadership 2 years ago was huge! He was a great mentor to Jake Long. I think he was a success just for that.

If we get dont get atleast a 3rd rounder im gonna be pissed, There was talks of smiley being a pro bowler before he got injured!

I don't think the Dolphins have much loyalty to individuals, aside from a select few, and even then that loyalty is more locked in because of the contract or the fact they have no other options. I think in this FO's world, your best attainable position as far as your status with the team is concerned is "you're the starter, unless something better comes along". It seems cold and callus, but hey, that's today's NFL.

No team has any loyalty to anyone. It's a business

Reports are Smiley is "damaged goods" at this point. I am thinking we get a 5th rounder.

Chicago needs O-line help bad.....Miami needs a TE.....just saying, he could revive his rap career in Miami.

Chicago went public yesterday saying they won't trade Olsen. Mike Martz loves him and wants to keep him on his offense

Chicago only has one player on their roster that I would trade for and that's Lance Briggs.

Exactly right. If not and we keep him we have shown him a rather crappy form of disrespect. Do not like the tactics I'm seeing in player negotiations, with existing or prospective players.
