He will still be fat. He can't stay away from any buffet long enough.

He better figure out how quick, because If he doesn't there's a good chance he'll kill himself. Under certain circumstances, this surgery can be dangerous.

I doubt it, the N.Y. press eats up this guy's unending antics. I think they'd be sad to see him go.

I remember when the NY press was in love with Mangenius too, didn't that sour quick?

Mangenious was ONLY run out beacuse Farve didn't like him. The owner loved Farve and thought Farve was going to come back so he got rid of Eric to try and please Farve.

Bottom line, Mangini made the playoffs his first year and won 9 games his last year with Farve throwing INT after INT. That ain't an awful 3 year run in this league for a rookie head coach.

Mike what are you talking about? Favre and Mangini were like boyfriend and girlfriend. They had a great relationship. I mean Jeez, Mangini even named his first child's middle name after Brett.

After that last game of the season, specifically after Merling swallowed up Favre's last pass as a Jet and took it to the house leaving Favre slamming and tumbling into the turf diving after him, everyone in the world knew that Favre had played his last game, at least as a Jet. Not to mention the real last play...the illegal forward pass where Favre got just annihilated as he let it go.

NO WAY the Jets owner thought Favre was coming back, and even more ridiculous, that even if he did, he would get rid of Mangini to somehow please Favre. It makes no sense. They loved each other. Mangini got fired for turning the team upside to bring Brett to NY, only to have the move blow up in his face the last 9 games of the season.

they had a great relationship when he first arrived and they were 7-2 but when they hit the skids in November they werent' close at all. He wanted to bench Farve but wasn't allowed to. It ended badly

Mangini didn't bring Farve to NY. Mangini wanted to stay with Chad. He had Farve forced on him and Eric put the happy face on and made the best of it

I'd say naming your first born after Brett Favre qualifies as "putting the happy face on, and making the best of it"

Poor kid. I'm wondering if Mangini is looking to change his name. Names are worse than tattoos. Truly permanent.

Don't hijack this thread with this crap. This thread is completely and 100 percent about how much I hate Rex Ryan. If what you say isn't in line with that sentiment, keep it outta here please.

Not the point. Mangini was as colorless as water in NY. Ryan may be a mouthy idiot, but he's far from colorless. Good stories for the press.

Lets see how funny he is when he has to struggle thru 6 players on IR and a losing season. All it will take is more struggles by Sanchez...who did not look infallible last year at all. Can u say sophomore slump?

The equivalent for them to be like us last year would consist of losing...

Mark Sanchez in week 3, Shonn Greene, Darrell Revis, David Harris, Leon Washington and Kris Jenkins.

Then lets see what kind of depth they have. They lost Jenkins after 6 games and Leon after 7 last year but that's a far cry from the players listed above.
