very funny! And I would be laughing too a few years back. But the league has changed and society has changed.

Its the people like this who keep superstar players ON THE FIELD and out of trouble these days. I mean if a guy is gonna do something stupid, then he can't be stopped sometimes. But more times than not he can be stopped or at least be educated enough to think twice about things.

But if a guy like this who we just hired, is good at his job, he reduces the chance of guys doing something stupid. He drills in these players head, don't carry a gun hire security for the night, get a limo service so you don't get a DUI... in the year 2010 these are the guys which teams need to keep the superstars ON THE FIELD and OUT OF TROUBLE!

When dealing with 22 and 23 year olds, a guy like this, who is good at his job.... who can relate to the players on the field (since he played) and off the field (as he can help them stay out of trouble) is priceless.

This hire makes me think that we might go after a "troubled" player in Rd 1 of the draft.

A Sergio Kindell or a Dez Bryant if he fell to us.

We are getting our ducks in a row now to make sure the "draftee" has a support system around him on the ground and ready to go

Hopefully he convinces everyone Golden tate is the next Nat Moore/Mark Duper or can find this years Marques Colston

That not what his job is. He isn't a personal guy

To my atonishment, I find myself agreeing with MikeO on this. And, his scenario seems to make sense.
