Perhaps that attitude is one reason why they're the weakest unit on the team. Once a group of players thinks they're entitled to their positions, they start slacking off. This just proves we NEED fresh blood at LB. I say, re-sign JT and let all the other starters go. I'd be fine if we went with Wake, Anderson, Taylor, and (maybe) Torbor, then fill the rest in through the draft and free agency.
It is kinda funny that cat is interviewing porter because he is one of the jet fan radio personalities that I listen to frequently to hear about whats going on. Maybe he is wondering what porter can do for the jest...
Porter is so stupid. He says in 2008 he had a huge year but the coaches told him he had dead legs at the end of the season (which was true). So they wanted to rest him more early in the year. And he agreed with this.
Then in the next breath he is upset coaches are rotating him in series and not using him every down. And THEN HE BRAGS ABOUT HIS PRODUCTION AT THE END OF THE YEAR!!
IS THIS GUY SO DENSE THE LIGHTBULT DOESN"T GO OFF!!! Joey had a big 2nd half this year because he was played less in the first half and was suspended for a week and got an extra week off. HENCE HE WAS MORE RESTED AND PLAYED BETTER DOWN THE STRETCH BECAUSE OF IT!!!
Not to mention he talks about being a team player (as does Crowder) then in the next breath both say, well if you take him (joey) off the field who you replacing him with??? A cheap shot and low blow to Cam Wake and the other back-up LB's. Does a good "team player" knock his teammates to the press.
Joey Porter can't get out of Miami soon enough. And he can take that IDIOT Crowder with him.
