Date: January 25, 2010 06:11PM From coaching this year's Senior Bowl south team, Sparano and Co. may fall in love with a player they get to know from this process.
Since McClain won't be playing in this one, there's a chance someone could emerge more favorable than McClain, even if he's available at 12. I'm not sure of the entire South roster, but I'm sure it includes a plethera of 1st round talent. It will be interesting to see who most impresses the Dolphins coaching staff. It is an unfair advantage, you already have film on them now you get to personally interact with them (subtle interview) and you get to watch them practise (VERY IMPORTANT). Date: January 27, 2010 08:43PM I was wondering if they might talk up players that they were not going to go after. What if they decided that Jared Odrick was our NT? Would it make sense to look excited over Mount Cody? It would surprise me more if they didn't want to put up a bit of smoke to cover their intentions. My guess is if McClain is available we get him and try to pick up a NT in the second round. Even if Soliai is a adequate, we don't have a lot of strength after him.
