At what cost for a new WR?

The 2 big names that keep getting tossed around are Marshall and Bowe, if they were available what would you be willing to give up for them? Marshall to me is the cream of the crop but I dont think i'd give up more then 1 pick and a player, if they said Ginn and your 1st I might consider it because he's that good, but if they said a 1st and a 2nd or 3rd or 2 1st's I wouldn't do it (we have far too many other holes to fill) Bowe I wouldnt part with our 1st at all for.Thoughts?

I would try to keep Ginn on the team because he's worth more to us w/Marshall on the team and Ginn as 3rd/4th receiver than he's worth to us now as ??? (1st going into the season).

In other words, his value increases for us if we keep him and acquire a #1. His value to Denver w/o a #1 is probably pretty easy for them to gauge based upon his performance here.

I would give a 2nd and 4th for him.

If you figure Wes Welker was a 2nd and 6th?

Randy Moss was traded for a 4th

Terrel Owens was initially traded for a 2nd rounder and later a player and 5th.

Braylon Edwards was traded for 2 roster guys and some lower round picks.

I don't think they will get a 1st rounder from anyone who is picking in the top 25.

WR's get hurt, WR's can be prima-donnas ( like the one they are trying to sell), and WR's can be expensive when they are good.

I'd hate to lose 2 high draft picks, particularly our 2nd rounder, but I'd be intrigued by Braylon Edwards.

Edwards??? He drops more passes than he catches no way. I would get Edwards if he was a free agent but then again I'm stingy with draft picks the only person I would give a first rounder for would be Johnson and Fitzgerald that's it

I think Tate will be long gone by 44...along with about 5 other WR's. We need to take one @12

ESPN reported today that Rex Cryin is adamant about keeping Edwards and they will be giving up the picks to do so.
