Looking at the remaining teams...and watching there play...we need alot of work if we are going to compete. Favre and Peyton looked awesome. Saints looked good too!
Big play offense is big, but so is a terrific pass rush. We need both. Our sack total was fine, but sacks don't tell the story. Look at how often we let opposing QBs just stand there with no one in their face or forcing them to move their feet.
The rules are set up for the offense though. All "contact" rules, the no touching the QB's at all....it's all geared to the offense.
If you can drop back and throw it well, YOU WIN in this league. You will either MAKE A PLAY, get a PI call, or get a roughing the QB more times than not. It's all about the passing game.

We're 2-2 against the teams left (Saints, Jets, Colts). Its loser talke, but if Ted Ginn did not drop the TD verse Colts, and Henne hadn't thrown the pick 6 opening up the 2nd half against the Saints, we could have possibly been 4-0 against these teams. Just something to think about
We better fix the LB positions or we will win nothing. We stop the Colts just once and we win. We stop the Saints just once in the 4th and we win. Offense and passing will put points up for sure, but Defense still wins games. Especially championships.
The Colts Defense won the game against the Ravens. Give Manning the ball back that much and of coarse he will score. BTW, Mannings receivers really need credit. Great catch after catch after catch.
The Jets won by Defense too. That's just the way it is.
