it will be interesting to see what the cause of death is. At 26 being an NFL player who is constantly being looked at by doctors its almost impossible for something to slip through the cracks.
It seems that in the case of a lot of young athletes who die either on the field or off, the cause of death is an enlarged heart.
I guess for the rest of us non-athletes it is probably a non-issue because we are not engaged in the type of strenuous behavior that would put fatal stress on that heart.
My problem is why don't athletes from high school to pros have MRIs done to detect these conditions? Why is it always a surprise when it happens.
I may be talking scientific ignorance but it seems to me that all young athletes should be investigated for this condition.
