Pittsburgh Steelers Linebackers coach Keith Butler is interviewing for the Fins defensive coordinator position. Butler worked with Sparano in Cleveland on the same staff.

Obviously our next d-coordinator will have a lot of experience in a 3-4 defense as that is what the Steelers run.

I like this move.

I was wondering what Groh's 'criteria' were for taking the job ( if offered).

Interviewing a viable candidate sends the message to both guys that we have options....and don't be too greedy ( power or money)

If butler got the gig, I think we would see a very aggressive D.

It will be Groh....Groh just interviewed which means he is definately interested in the Miami job over the GT job.

I said as soon as Pasquoloni was fired that it would be Groh, not surprised.

Yeah, something tells me that the Phins are eyeing someone else. Groh said he was interested in the job so there was really no reason for him to pick GT over us.....I think the decision for him not to be here was on our side not wanting him.
