The Pats have gotten old right before our eyes people.
They are now an ordinary football team. Jets will be preseason pick to win the AFC East next year by just about everyone in every publication on every TV and radio show.
Pats struggling without Welker, and he won't be back until around November 2010 at best. However, I wonder if Edelman will improve though during that time.
Don't count them out in 2010, they are still dangerous.

Actually I would move bird to TE, at 9 feet whos going to stop him son, then I would put snuffelugegus the D-line and after one season of stuffin the run I am sure we could get a first rounder for him...

Reppa you're an idiot. Why would you get rid of snuffelupogous if he proves to be the answer at NT by stopping the run all year.
As for Bird at TE, I see where you're going, but BB probably couldn't block for $h!t and we all know that you aren't getting on a Bill Parcells team if you can't be relied on to block.
What I found inexplicable was that toward the end of the first half with 2 minutes and some change to go trailing 24-7, with 4th and oh, about 8 on the Raven's 35, Belicheat's choices were to 1) attempt the field goal, 2) try for the first down or 3) punt.
Now if you punt, you have to have 3 straight stops calling timeouts after each one (runs only of course) and then hope to get the ball back in good position and enough time to either 1) score a touchdown or 2) kick a field goal.
A field goal would be long but not un-makeable.
A first down try was what he did in the Indy game from his OWN 28.
The p_ssy PUNTED!
Maybe he did not want to accused of making the Indy mistake again but I heard BOOS from the crowd.
