Tweaking the NFL Schedule

Heard the commish on the radio this morning. With all the talk of Indy and Cincy not playing hard and handing the Jets 2 gift wins there needs to be something done going down the road to stop teams from benching players and not trying. He was talking about that.
The first idea Roger Goodell was presented he said was taking away draft picks for teams that do such a thing. He didn't like that idea and said thats too much of a harsh punishment.
Another idea he has been presented and that he likes and is considering and will have the competition committee look into is having the final 6 weeks of the year, you only play your division games. Would it still be possible for a team to "lay down"....sure but not having a division record till after Thanksgiving really, its far less likely.
I love the idea, although it KILLS the Dolphins. In that 3 of the last 6 games will be in cold, snow, and horrible conditions as they would travel to NY, Boston, and Buffalo every year in December/January. No way around that or avoiding it. Every year, you know its going to be brutal.
