by my count if Tenn holds on we will be picking 10 or 11, depending on how the tie breaker with the bears works out. Assuming 1 or 2 QBs go in the top 10, that will leave us some real solid talent to choose from.
I would rather us use a first 10 or 11th pick and screw that up (which is much harder to do because the guys who are rated to go in the top ten usually do not fall on their face (usually)) rather than stockpile later picks which we will screw up picking guys who are not even marginal.
usually I agree but we are now lacking playmakers, not bodies. If we have a chance to get a game changing LB or WR or other player at a position we need, we gotta do it.

What picks have we screwed up under Ireland?? Jake Long, Chad Henne, Phillip Merling, Kendal Langford, Vonte Davis, Sean Smith, Donald Thomas, Brian Hartline.
These are all starters next year probably.....Ireland can draft!!! Give him more picks!
