With our loss today we have fallen into the 11-14 range on the draft board. Lets face it we didnt have a contender this season-with all the injuries and rookies starting but we learned alot along the way and yeah beating the steelers would be great, but I'm basing this on the notion that we are defeated (although I think we'll win).

I dont think that myron rolle will enter the draft, turns out that he is also a scholar and won some prestigious med school award to study at oxford. He said that he will persue medicine for 4 years and then enter...
WOuld have been a good pick at 107 though, we could use him.
I don't follow college football. but I caught part of the bowl game that Nebraska was in last night from accross the room. Who is their RB (#24) he is fast as hell!
...still waiting for DAN WILLIAMS to do something in the game tonight. He's getting double-teamed every play. The only .5 sack he got happened when being blocked by a RB.
About Williams. For a guy who's supposed to stop the RUN. Virginia Tech thrashed them on the ground, going left and right. When a VT runner was stopped it looked like Williams was in on it constantly. I mentioned before about the double-team all night on him...
He's got the size and he looked good. But I think a great NT alternative in the 2nd or 3rd is VINCE O'GAwhatshisname from DUKE.
BERRY SUH and McCLAIN are those head-and-shoulders above the rest players, men-among-boys type of college player, our defense has got to have one of these guys. We HAVE TO.
How about a deal with OAKLAND or DENVER(drafting with Chicago's pick).. give 'em PORTER and GINN and our 2nd for their 1st rounder, in the hopes we might nab McClain.
I say we sign Vince Wilfork in free agency, and use the draft to fill other needs. Obviously, it's going to take a ton of cash. But, he is a Miami guy, and maybe we can entice him to come home.

In hopes we MIGHT get McClain? No. We should start talks with them on the condition that we make the trade on draft day only IF McClain is available at their spot. We need to figure out what teams would be willing to trade to see what our options are. We've had some damn good ILBs in the past (Buoniconti, Duhe, Offerdahl, Zach). McClain will fit right in and continue the tradition of great Miami ILBs.
or Berry. Either one of them needs to be suited up in a DOlphins uni next season. But seeing as Berry is garaunteed to be a top 5, it might be easier to get McClain.
