It will be a good test of just how far our corners have come. If we rein them in we should be in good place to possibly make our way into the playoffs.

Bottm line, it all comes down to pass rush.
If we get to the QB consistantly, we win.
If not, we'll need to score in the 40s to have a chance.

Andre Johnson will get his 100+ yards, but Ricky/Hilliard/Polite will have close to 200 yards rushing. The Dolphins will dominate the Time of Possession in this game and Schaub will fail to pull a Manning. All the people saying how great the Texans are will have to wake up and see that they are slightly above average and no better than the Dolphins. Hey wait isn't that what their record reflects right now?

I'm confused am I reading the standings wrong? The Texans are 7-7, the same record as the Dolphins, right?. The way people on these boards, NFL Network, ESPN etc. have been talking, I was starting to believe everyone else was in some alternate dimension where the Texans were a team playing for an undefeated season or something.

Yep we should've called a timeout. I could see it coming. I go out 30-40 miles when the timing is right to fish off the coast here for MAHI. Sirius is awesome.

Gezzzzz we got hosed by the REFS today. REFS YOU SUCK! Early in the game they gave a first down when Tex came a centimeter or two short. I could see daylight through the chains and they gave it to them. Then of course the fumble-incomplete.

Sean Smith for the most part, shut down Andre Johnson. Against Smith, Johnson had 3 catched for 40 yards.

SMith doesnt make the "BIG" plays that Davis does. But he also doesnt give up the "BIG" plays that Davis does either.

Sean Smith was a steal in last years draft. I remember having him as our 1st rounder in a couple mocks, and I was right on him. What a sleeper steal. We got VERY lucky.

Comparing Vontae to Smith is funny. You're comparing the 2 top CBs of last years draft. Sure, one of them will be better than the other. Madison had his days and so did Surtain. I'm confident BOTH those guys will be pro-bowlers eventually.

I agree as well, Monte. Im starting to think that comparing the two is a little unjustified. Simply being, they are two totally different CB's in all the sense.

Sean Smith is alot like Surtain in that he rarely gets beat as much but is very consistent.

Vontae is alot more like Madison in that he has a knack and instint for the big play, the ability to come off his man and intercept a pass intended for another WR, yet also he gives up the big play a slight bit more.

Either way, we should feel very happy for the future of this team.
