Would you like to see TEBOW...

"He's a great football player"
"He's a guy I want on my team...whether its in the WILDCAT or not."

In a WESH2 interview this afternoon. The good thing is all the JAGS fans are in LOOOOVE with Tebow. I have to believe they'll choose him, to revitalized their fan base, with their 1st round selection. eye rolling smiley

Thats at least what I shouted from the stands, as Cam Wake sacked Garrad, would be their consulation prize for us beating them on Sunday. smileys with beer

I also shouted this was only the tip of the Iceberg and we would continue to take REVENGE for that Dan Marino Playoff loss. angry smiley

Jags need to look elsewhere if they want a legit QB. They blew it with Byron Leftwich, and Tebow won't be any better.

Can't see a category that describes how I would vote.

1. I like Tebow, and would love to see him play in the NFL, but that is more for admiration for character and toughness in the college game than what is likely to translate to the NFL.

However .........

2. I could see him running our wildcat much more successfully than Pat White will ever run it. Why you might ask?

- Because he weighs more than 170 lbs and can throw a reasonable pass as well

- Because he has a winning attitude and leaves it all on the field each game ... win or lose (mostly winning)

Pat White actually throws a really good pass. I would argue that he is even better throwing than Tebow is.

pat white doesnt run the wild cat he runs the spread offense, ronnie brown runs the wild cat...

I do agree that he is the ultimate wildcat player since he obviously has a big arm and he is big enough to take the punishment of running the ball up the middle.

Tebow will be a bust. You can't CRY in football. You lose all the respect of your teammates (just look at how it ended Tim Couch's career). Tebow guy cries like Dick Vermile, that crap won't fly in the NFL!

Being a Gator fan I watched a lot of Tebow. Never saw him cry and even if he did, he had the utmost respect of his team.

I don't see him as an NFL QB, but heart, guts, and character is what he and football is all about.

Again Mike, stop acting like a jerk.

Just can't get that jerk thing out or your system, can you?

Check with his team mates and coachs to find out what kind of man he is.

so I make a point. BACK IT UP WITH FACTS AND VISUAL EVIDENCE. And I'm a jerk.

The guy cries when he loses games. It's a fact!

Leon, wouldn't we both love to see Tebow running full speed at Mike O and have little Mikey try to tackle him?

Yup!
Actually the point Mikey is that you are dead wrong about crying not flying in the NFL. Tebow might never make it as a QB, but it won't have a thing to do about tears,or heart.

Crying in the NFL? Just look at Brett Favre! No one's calling HIM a crybaby.

Comment:

Exactly my point ... he is less versatile because he doesn't weigh enough / tough enough to be a running threat also.

Ronnie can run it, handoff and be a decoy, or pass it.
Pat White has less effective options and hasn't proven to be a significantly better passer

Oh dang! He has a cyst (or something) on his brain due to stress. That sucks, here's to hoping he makes it back to 100%.
