Locks down another win for us on the last play. This kid needs way more playing time.

I agree, he is instant pressure on the QB.

But he is very one-dimensional. I think that is what makes him vonureable.

JT might not be as good of a pass rusher as Wake is, but all around...even though JT is old....he is still an all around better player *at this point* than Wake is.

But I definately agree....on sure fire passing plays, just like at the end of a game and we are ahead, he needs to be in.

he can't play the run, but neither can Porter so I see no reason why Wake shouldn't be starting over Porter

I just rewatched that last play with Wake. His motor doesn't stop! Gerrard didn't see him coming. Love this kid. I also agree that he can be in instead of Porter on most plays.

I liked seeing the bull rushing this week. In the past he was purely using his speed. He kind of mixed it up this week.

Taylor doesnt seem to be rushing much any more, he is holding his corner on every play, which he does very well.

I predict that Porter will be shoped around for a draft pick ( a late round pick) or maybe just cut and Wake will take his spot. I am on the Wake bandwagon. It's hard not to be when almost every time he steps on that field he makes a play for us when it counts most

I say our starting OLBs next year will be Wake and Anderson.

I say they should be our starting OLBs NOW!! Why wait?

Simple, we're really close to the playoffs right now and playing good ball. It's not time to rock the boat with our lineup. I say the same to all those guys clambering for us to play Turner. If we lose one more game, then you'll see some drastic lineup changes.

we will free up cash but will have nobody to spend it on.

Free Agency will almost not exist next year, most of the guys eligable won't beb under the UN-CAPPED YEAR, and you will see little to no movement in free agency.

Unless Porter's contract runs out, he'll be in Miami next year. I'm just hoping he demoted to backup.

Wake is the real deal on a pass rush down. let's hope the off season, he gets schooled up on coverage better to make him an every down guy.

Nice to have the mustard when it is needed though.

I am not convinced that Wake is 'bad' against the run. he hasn't had enough snaps in running situations to establish that idea.

Last week he was in for 10 snaps- all passing downs...so how could he be bad in run situations?

Several weeks ago I saw him shed a block and nail the runner for a loss on a draw play.

I concede that he may not be as polished as he could be...but yesterday I saw the runner beat an unblocked LB to the outside on several occasions.

Porter is still getting to the QB in passing downs but isn't doing much against the run. So really HE is the guy who should be coming off the bench and taking Taylor out.

Starting guys Taylor and Wake on 1st & 2nd down, then on 3rd put Wake on the left and bring Porter in.

I don't believe he would be any worse against the run than Porter. And 2 weeks ago they gave Moses 1st & 2nd down opportunities in Porter's spot. he hasn't earned it....Wake HAS.

I doubt Porter's ego would let him come off the bench with any success. He'd pull a Moss and tank it.

No he won't. We can (and will) cut him. That stunt of claiming he was hurt and having to leave practice then getting caught at a local Steakhouse a few hours later. Then was a DNP the following week....a clear sign Porter's days in Miami are over once the season ends

It was AWESOME in person let me tell you. I had the perfect view and even seconds before the SACK I could see it developing. Its nice to have a PASS RUSHING SPECIALIST with FRESH LEGS late in the game huh?

still doesn't mean any team in their right mind will "trade" for a cancer and washed up player like Joey Porter.
