Play Calling/Fumbling

I usually like Henning's play calling but that reverse seemed like a baffling call. It took away all the momentum even if it didnt result in a fumble. When the Qb has a hot hand why take the ball away from him.

Fumbles are killing us this year. Thats three this game. Fasanos fumbles killed us against Indy, bess' fumble against new orleans. We are supposed to be a disciplined team under Sparano

anyone still wanna debate that Bess is on the same level or even better as Welker. It's silly on every level. It's not even close.....Bess has hurt us and he also makes zero plays in the punt return game

I definately agree about him as a punt returner.

his fumbling keeps him out of the running.

I agree about the punting as well. I still think he can be in the Welker level, but he definitely isn't there yet. The fumbling is a huge issue. On the other hand, that play should not have been called.

If he had a more explosive first step he would be incredible, but he simply doesnt.

I really like Bess as a receiver. He's quick, gets open, runs great routes, and catches difficult balls. But he has ZERO speed. Why is he running end arounds and returning punts?

IMO, he's too valuable to be returning punts anyway.

He makes no sense as a punt returner. Put Ginn out there!!

Agreed! With his speed, he'll never return a punt for a TD anyway.

One thing I will give Henning, and I actually "called" this before the game (I will be sending a resume to Parcells later this week winking smiley), was the Henne roll out TD. Henne is not a run threat clearly, but he had done well rolling out to the right passing the ball and it was only a matter of time before they were going to take advantage of that and have him stroll into the endzone.

Henne is definitely a bright spot win or lose this season. We need to get him a premiere WR and our Offense will be hitting on all cylinders. If we can stop the fumbles.
