Pats -6.5 is what it opened up at and was at almost all week.

As of today its OFF the board in some places, or down to Pats -3 or -4.5

Somthing is going on here......

It dropped down to -3.5 on Wednesday, usually the day injuries and any team news is announced. I have no idea what could have been said @ the press conferences that could make the line go down that much, but I agree, something smells "fishy".

Adam Schefter is reporting Brady with an injured finger. That is probably the reason for the drop.

He's gonna play but who knows how effective and what not

That is not it, it has nothing to do with Brady! The reason for the spread change is Sparano announced that their will be no Fancy plays out of the wild cat and when we run it either Lex or Ricky will be in motion. He also announced Wake will get 3.5 sacks and Henne will throw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. The power of positive thinking, we WILL WIN TODAY! That is what Sparano said and that is the reason for the change.

Actually Clovis, it has everything to do with Brady. Florio is now reporting Bradys injury to be the exact reason for the point spread difference.

Heh...whatever. This prediction was right about Henne, but did Wake even play? No Wake..no sacks. But we won, so it all worked out!

Wake had that huge play at the end of the game that led to the game saving interception. That's a play that doesnt' show up in the statistics, so the fantasy football crowd might not have noticed it. No sacks? who cares, he iced the game for us.

At least I got the Henne prediction, and the win prediction was right as well! I will take it! Wake would have gotten the 3.5 had he been in. We can finish this season in the playoffs if the defense steps it up just a little bit more with the QB pressure.
