Date: December 03, 2009 10:01AM If we win we are 6-6, a game behind the division leader with 4 tough games ahead. I say we stay the course adding a wrinkle here and there.
If we lose we are 5-7 2 games behind the leader with no tie breaker...we are eliminated from Division Winner play-off berth and are 98% eliminated from play-off contention. If that happens..??? Start Hartline, give Turner playing time, Start Wake, rotate JT and Porter. Play the young guys more and rotate the veterans in as relief ( especially those who are inlikely to be with us next year.) Give Hilliard lots of carries and let Ricky be the 15 carry guy. NO MORE wildcat..... And find time to play Pat White as a regular QB in a regular series or two...like if the game is in the bag or out of reach. Re: If we win...if we lose....

Date: December 03, 2009 12:11PM Yup, Except I'm not sold on abandoning the Wildcat. Without Ronnie it has not been as effective. But with him teams have not stopped it. It has been a very good running offense close to the goal or short yardage.
Down side of that for now is Henne needs playing time. As far as White goes, he is a backup. Let it be just that. He has plenty of time to improve and be valuable. I don't like moving White to WR. We need that big #1 not another quick little guy. Defense, get Wake in there and keep him there period!! He will either make it or not but right now is the time. Start adjusting much better in the second half both offense and defense but especially D. We can beat the Patsies with what we have but the only way is to the rock the baby again and again. Date: December 03, 2009 02:23PM the wildcat really is nothing without the end around that RW used to run on every play when Ronnie was in there running it. I don't mind keeping it, but why not (as I read it suggested somewhere) try Hilliard as the trigger man and put RW back in his old end around role? Right now all the wildcat is RW taking the snap and running straight ahead. The element of motion and suprise that was so key to the play is gone right now. Re: If we win...if we lose....
