IMO, Cowher will be coaching the Panther's next year should he decide to come out of retirement.

I don't think he'd pick Washington, Cowher is a smart man and would not tarnish his legacy working under the thumb of Darth Snyder.

Jets are unlikely too... New York expects instant gratification and Cowher know it's not going to happen in one or two years over there.

Rex won't last in NY unless he starts winning that is almost a certainty, there is a lot of big money coaches out there the Jets have several options

I live near Charlotte and the word around here is that Fox will most likley be back next year due to the fact that he is getting a boat load of money whether he coaches or not and Richardson does not want to pay him and then go out and hire Cowher or whomever and have to pay them a boat load of money also. If they do fire Fox their new coach will probably be some assistant coach they will not have to pay too much to.

Any chance Bill Cowher goes to Dallas if Phillips is fired?

Who gives a damn what the Jets do? All this crap is offseason speculation, anyway. Let's finish the season first.

I think Cowher will end up in Carolina or Washington. Cowher has the pull like Parcells did with Jerry Jones to tell Synder to shut up and stay out of his way.

Cowher isn't going to Cleveland, Buffalo, Tampa, or even the KC job might be open they are saying. He isn't going to any of those places, Cowher is staying close to home or chasing the money

The "total power" issue would prevent that. Cowher wants total control over the team he comes back to coach, and no way Jerry Jones would concede this.

Jones gave it to Parcells and stayed out of Bill's way for the most part (minus the T.O. debacle). I think Jones would stay out of Cowhers way if it meant winning. He has done it before.

RESPONSE: That's what these boards are for, to talk about topics and discuss things in times in which we are not watching the games.
