I'm hoping for a heat wave to hit S Fl just so we can at least get a weather advantage in....but currently the forecast high is 'only' in the upper 70s for Sunday.

Oh wait a minute this friday after thanks giving then sunday we play buffalo...................So its next sunday new england...........................I hope the sun gets closer to earth as well....an nice 115 heat wave would do the trick.
This brings up an interesting question to me. The Dolphins had picked to wear the aqua jerseys for this game, and New England was to wear the all white throwback uniforms. I wonder if the Dolphins will petition the NFL to switch to their white jerseys for this (now) day game? If not, this would be the first regular season home day game for as long as I can remember Miami wearing the aqua jerseys. Can anyone here remember Miami wearing aqua jerseys for a regular season home day game? I'm guessing it would be way back in the 1970's.

Yeah I can't remember the Dolphin wearing an Aqua home Jersey in a long time.
BTW How do you know the Dolphins were suppose to wear the Aqua Jerseys? How far in advance do they make that decision.
Common knowlege that Miami wears non-white for night games, and I remember reading they have to send their choices to the NFL before the season begans. Most teams put the uniform choices on their webpages (Miami does not). As for NE's throwback-this was posted on NFL.com which games are "Legacy games". This week, the Bills will be wearing throwbacks against Miami as well.
NBC had to make this move. Miami is a small media market and without Ronnie Brown isn't an attractive TV team.
New England couldn't carry the game (ratings) alone. Farve is a ratings MONSTER this year. His games have drawn huge ratings, plus you have a face-off of division leaders and two hall of fame QB's. It was a no-brainer for NBC to make the switch.
Plus I like playing at 1pm anyway to be honest. Primetime games stink. Gotta wait around all day then you stay up all night and are tired Monday morning. who needs that

A tall order, considering that the temperature in Miami has never hit 100F (granted the stadium isn't technically in Miami). Higher-than-100 field temperature would be nice, to melt the patsies.

Not sure about never, but Miami is, certainly, too close to the coast to hit 115. That's desert heat. You get that in Dallas and Phoenix, but not in Miami.
All NBC shows is NFC games anyways, they never show afc games, its sooo annoying, and if they do show afc games, its 3 teams only, colts, patriots, steelers

Its the same reason FOX pays more for NFC games than CBS pays for AFC....bigger TV markets.
NFC Cities: Dallas, Chicago, Philly, NY (better team in NY),Washington.
AFC is stuck with the likes of Cincinati, Houston, Buffalo and the Baltimore's of the world.
NFC cities are the LARGE TV markets that bring in huge TV audiences
This totally sucks. My wife and I built a weeks vacation around this game. We planned on a nice leisurely drive up from Key West that day. Now it looks more like an early morning rush!
