Yep totally agree this was a gutsy win at least we have 10 days to rest and hopefully get a little healthier.

Henne looked like a future perennial all star tonight. Converting a number of HUGE, crucial 3rd and long plays on the road to pick up much needed points. The kid had 3 impressive long scoring drives. He was pretty accurate tonight and didn't make any stupid mistakes like turning the ball over.

Also, if anyone's been noticing, he's starting to develop a better feel for the pocket, stepping up in it. He seems more comfortable moving around in the pocket and delivering with authority. Also, rolling out to his right and keeping his eyes down field. That pass to Bess to convert that 3rd and 12 in the 4th quarter was really impressive how he confidently avoided that rusher who broke free, stepped up and delivered.

Imagine what this kid is going to be able to do with a some tough, fast, sure-handed 6'3, dangerous, YAC type of receiving threat. Henne could truly be great and work magic with an Andre Johnson type of receiver. I hope we draft one in the first round in the next couple of years if the player there is really worth it.

Kudo's to Henne for completing that 3rd and 12 on the move...BUT if he had hit Bess in stride, he would've walked into the endzone. Either way, I liked the results. smiling bouncing smiley

Henne's got an arm there's no question about it!

What is really nice about this season is we can watch Henne develop and still be in the running for a playoff position right now! we're getting the best of both worlds right now.

Also very proud of the win on the road against a Panther team that was really starting to come on, they had beat Arz and Atl and only lost by 10 pts to New Orleans and we came into their barn and beat them without Ronnie! thats impressive!

Very proud of the team tonight. We were playing so bad for the first 18 minutes or so but we kept it a 3-0 game and then we took control. Of course, we always have to make it interesting, but we walked right down the field and put it out of reach after Carolina made it close. smiling smiley

This team practically was playing with backup both on the D line and O line. Very impressed.......These coaches know how to get the backups ready to play......This tells me a lot about this coaching staff.

Couldn't have said it any better myself Phinsfan. We beat a VERY GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM minus Delhomme banged up on a short week.

GREAT WIN TEAM!

Yeah but luckily Ricky took a walk into the endzone on the very next play.
