Is he now competing with Ginn for the most dropped balls? Why is this guy still in the game getting thrown to? He drops everything thrown his way.

Did you guys see Sparano screaming at Haynos as he came off the field. Maybe he'll sit his useless butt for a while.

They were both undrafted FA's. What do you expect?

How about Sperry? He looked good last week. Thay need to sit Haynos and put Sperry in during every practice before the Bills game.

Maybe not. We found out last week that Sperry can catch, we found out this week that he can block. Maybe we should use him more often.

Agreed. All Haynos has going for him is his height (6'8".

SPERRY had a nice block on 3rd down.

Anything is better than Anthony Fasano

I'd rather have Haynos drop the football twice during the game then Fasano fumble everytime he touches the ball.

The first drop was all on Haynos. The second drop the defender grabgbed both of his arms at the time of delivery and pulled them down. It was a good defensive strip vs. a drop.

Agree however we are lacking a good TE in an offensive scheme that screams out for one.

BTW - Henne looked great and Bess was awesome.

Both drops were on Haynos. He had a bad game. He will bounce back.

And how would you know what kind of player Sperry is? Oh, I guess it's your genius, or your mental telepathy as every time he has played he shows promise.

Sperry is a journeymen type TE. He will never be anything special, he's ok to have on a team for depth. But he isn't ever going to be a starting TE for at eam that has thoughts of winning a super bowl.

We got the guy off a practice squad......he isnt' anything special. Face reality, live in reality people!

Miami's TE's suck. Face facts!! The fact that we are down to Sperry speaks volumns. Even when Fasano was healthy he still sucked this year

First of all its time to be positive about something. Weve won 2 in a row....maybe 3 with buffalo next.

Mike i thought our season was over.....You said that numerous time in the week before. Its not over yet.

Speaking of Chargers and no-name TE's......I believe their pro bowl TE was one of those undrafted, no-name guys as well.

fine Sperry as a #2 or #3 TE i have no problem with. Fasano can just leave really......he won't be missed

Am I the only one that thinks MikeO is a jets fan. If not his negative attitude sucks!!!

yeah Im the negative one, Im one of the FEW people who don't blame Ginn for every loss and every problem we have. I'm one of the few who doesn'tw atch 2006 Ohio St games on ESPN Classic only to take pot shots at Ginn and new and creative ways to take shots at him.

But because I don't want to build a wing in Canton for a guy after he gets called up from the practice squad and plays 2 games........I'm negative.

This comment is pretty negative as well. As stated in another post, we have Buffalo next week (win), assuming they beat the jets tomorrow, the Pats have NO next(loss). We beat them the following week and all of a sudden, we're both 7-5! Let the season play out and enjoy it...or at least let us enjoy it.

Clearly you call yourself a fan (otherwise you wouldn't be on this forum), so why do you take every chance you get to put your team down?

Life is short, find the good things!

BTW i like ginn.....He is just eratic as hell......One game he plays outstanding the next game he drops everything thrown his way.

Actually, you're describing exactly what Chris Chambers was with us a few years ago. Ginn has actually been fairly consistent this year:

1. Very Good kick returner (consistent)
2. Drops passes when under pressure (pretty consistent here)
3. Doesn't extend fully on catches because, it appears, he's afraid to get hit (consistent)

The reason Ginn has been looking better as of late is because of how he is being used. He doesn't have the pressure of trying to be a #1 WR anymore. He isn't being thrown to in the endzone or deep (passes to him are short and quick, allowing Ginn to use his speed to gain yards).
