I assume you're being sarcastic, but I'll say yeah. You hold onto a #1 pck wide receiver for 3 years and because of that you don't draft a replacement or trade for one. So yeah, you're counting on the guy. The whole offense needs re-working next year, not just Ginn.

ALL we need is a FG. We should have just fell on the ball ands started our drive from the 40 or 45 yard line. We don't need a big return, all we need is a FG

The reason teams often do that is in case the FG holder bobbles the snap, they can fall on it and try again, with some time still remaining.
What I'd like to know is, what are the odds (using history as a guide) of a bad snap vs. the opponent running back the ensuing kickoff all the way back at the end of the game.
GBO, it said we kicked our field goal with 10 seconds left...when we could have ran the time down to just a couple seconds....thats all I was wondering.....
Im not watching it live, only following it on NFL.com, so I dont know what kind of delay or malfunctions I watching....
the odds are nearly zero... 2 similar moves to end the half.. this conservative bullshit is for the birds and they need to change that crap asap. All it does is "conserve" the opportunity for the opponent to win the game.
They sure did their best job to give this damn game away. Carolina just beat atlanta I believe so they have no cake walk on thursday at all.
Hope Ronnie's injury is not serious and he is back next week. Even with him though I can easily see this team only winning 1 or 2 more games the rest of the year and finishing with a 5-11 or maybe with some luck 6-10 record. The Bucs were the weakest team left on the schedule and the Dolphins needed a bad call by the Refs to win, not encouraging.
