I haven't seen us blow a lead like that since the Meadowland Meltdown with Wanny behind the wheel.
I have to say, the time out call before end of the 1st half, that subsequently backfired was VERY Wanny-esque.
I'm not sayin anything, I'm just sayin.....
Hated the time out call ... but ... Sparano will have to do a whole lot of stupid stuff to even warrant consideration of your inference of being like wanny.
- I hate that the rules to even allow the last second timeout and force a replay.
- I think there has to be a point within a reaonable time prior to snap you have to call the time out.
Sparano in my opinion is cut from different cloth, and though a rookie, and may make a mistake or so ... is worlds apart in character, work ethic, focus, and leadership than Wanny.
Didn't Sporano state that the reason he called a time out is because St. Louis had their field goal package on the field and he wanted time to get the right men out there?
