Did anyone watch first and ten?

One of the commentators kept defending Roy Williams for being a bust and called the Cowboys the best rushing team in football!!! Can you believe this?? The Phins are off and on paper the best rushing team in football. Didn't he see wat we did to Rex cRyan's D? Sorry guys but I needed to vent a little bit about that.

I was JUST watching this too! I try to catch it every morning because Skip is just too funny but yea, as soon as they said Dallas is the best rushing team in football i was practically screaming a the TV. I hate the fact we hardly get any respect and even if it was meant to be funny or sarcastic it should still be mentioned that WE dominate the run game.

I like the fact we don't get respect. It keeps our guys from getting cocky. Keeps us angry.

Valid point. Besides its just that much sweeter when we win big and they act all surprised as if were on the eve of the apocalypse for being good hahaha.

Let teams keep underestimating us. Until we win a playoff game at least we will be ranked below average.

How long has it been since we won a playoff game?

I think it was against the seahawks with jay fielder.

So far we have beaten the jets and bills and they both have proven that the suck.

They will give us some props if we are able to beat the saints on sunday.

My point been until we start beating good teams and winning playoff games, nobody is going to give us props for anything.

I agree that it's good to not get 'respect'.

But this is the media, does anyone in the game really care what the Suits say?. The real feat is getting our opponents to fail to 'respect' us at game time.

BTW if you think this is bad look at the line for the upcoming jets game.

Jets are favored by 3 (Supposed it is because they are at home.)

New Orleans I can understand being favored by 6.5 after being 6-0 and thumping NY Giants last week.

I'm no gambling or odds expert but I think 3 points is the standard homefield advantage, meaning they're considering it an even matchup in general. As if that mattered, let's kick their butts!

Most of the time Skip Bayless is an idiot, complete moron and hard to watch.

Actually you know what I would love to watch? A video of the ex cowboy player who made Bayless pee in his pants. Now that would be funny.

I thought this thread was about the old HBO show from the 80s. I loved that show. I remember Bubba and Jethro and the Jacksonville Bulls.

I saw that show and was amazed Skip Bayless could say the Cowboys were the top rushing team. However, they average 5.9 yds per rush were as we average 4.8. That puts them 1st in the league and us at 5th. Maybe he was using that stat as his rationale. Of course, we run more times per game, so in overall rushing yardage we are ahead of the Cowboys.
