Galloway released!

Calling the signing by the PATS a BUST!
Could he help us? Just knowing the playbook could sting our rivals!

since we have to play them twice between now and Dec 6th....his knowledge would help.
I can't see our front office signing him though and moving out one of your young guys.

Sign him as another receiver coach. Then we can pick his brain. I always mixed him and Terry Glenn up a little anyhow.

I dont think there is too much to pick there. Probably one reason why he was released.
Re: Galloway released!

he's age 35 (slow speed), can't catch(lost flexibility)...don't think he's too bright either. I'd say no.

Galloway is too old. You want two slowish wrs we have camarillo and hartline. Galloway is done.

Hartline isn't slow. He is a burner!!!
Re: Galloway released!

ginn is a burner hartline is slow.
Re: Galloway released!

Hartline is not slow.
His 2009 Combine numbers were great. 60-yard shuttle he was 1st among all WR's. And had better time than RB Knowshaon Moreno. His 3-cone drill he was 2nd among all WR's.
The guy has flat out speed.

A WR is supposed to be faster than a RB mike.

Do you guys have to fall in love with every OLD player that is released in the league?
We kind of have this whole youth movement going on in Miami, if you haven't noticed...

Maybe we should put it THIS way:
After Ginn, Hartline is our fastest receiver. He's the only guy, besides Ginn, who can, truly, be a deep threat.

Sam, you have to run a 4.4 to be a deep threat....speed wise. So, I agree.

Hartline isn't slow. End of debate. The guy has speed.
If you think otherwise then I can't and won't have this debate any longer. I mean the facts don't lie.

No way in gods green earth there is only about a second difference between ginn and hartlines 40 yard time.....I dont care what nobody says.
Ive seen both in practice. Not even close.
There is no way in the world.
Camarillo and hartline look like the same type player out there.
This is my opinion.

But Sam, a tenth of a second is a looooong time in straight line speed. I think what DolfanMark's post is saying is actually proving you right. 4.58 is not good speed in the NFL. Ginn probably runs a 4.3, the difference between that and 4.58 is eternity.
There are linebackers that run 4.4 and 4.5's. That means they are faster than Hartline.

Aqua my post wasnt directed at dolfan mark ...I read what he posted and i agree. It was directed to those who say hartline has ted ginn type speed.
Re: Galloway released!

nobody ever said Hartline has Ted Ginn type speed.
You can be fast yet be not as fast as Ginn. They dont' go hand in hand

Yeah Sam I knew that!
I agree with you, Hartline is fast for the average couch potato but not in the NFL. A 4.58 forty in the NFL is not fast.

Hartline is slow for an nfl receiver. but he's faster than me.
Re: Galloway released!

Of course he is faster than you berk.......You probably run an 9.04 on the 40.
I run a look 10.0 flat. hehehe.
