Did anybody else notice?

I was watching the Denver-New England game and I heard numerous times the announcers taking shots at the wildcat formation. I guess the Broncos are running something they call the "wild horses" formation. During the telecast (I'm not sure who the announcers were) but the play-by-play guy asked the color commentator is the Broncos "wild horses" formation better than the wildcat and his response was "oh no doubt, it's also more advanced than it too".

What is up with all the hate on this formation? I believe John Gruden is the only commentator I have heard during a telecast actually brag about it. Most guys hate on it.

Yea, I noticed it. It was Phil Simms who said, "oh no doubt, it's also more advanced than it too".

Someone, I wish Jim Nantz, should ask him why it is more advanced, is it because a rookie runs it? What an Ahole

The (announcers) probably hate it because Miami runs it successfully. If the Patsies or Jests ran it I'm sure they would be drooling all over it.

it's such an easy high school offense, so they say. i guess that's why no one can stop it when we run it. and no one else has any success at it.

I just think most NFL "traditionalist" hate it. They think it's a fad and quite frankly I think most hate it because, as Berk said, no one has figured it out yet.

They hate it because we're not the Jets, Patriots, Giants or Cowboys.
