This is the week! 28-10 Fins

Got to thinking about the coming week and the state of the division.

This game is huge! Why?

1. I think the Pats without welker are pretenders ... out and out lucky to not be 1-3, shoudl have lost to BUF & BAL. (But they found a way to win & have welker back now.

2. A win against the Jets would totally knot up the division. A loss would put us in a pretty deep hole.

3. Here we sit 1-3, but 1-0 in the division.

*********** Key to Fins win will be Defense Arrives ******
*********** Offense change will be Passing consistency *****

I'm calling this one a 3 turnover upset for a 28 to 10 victory.

I think it will be closer, but I predict a win as well. 27-24.

I think we continue to run well. This time Ricky goes over 100 and Ronnie gets in the 80's.

Our passing game will click from the beginning of the game. Henne will look comfortable.

Henne will do better holding on to the ball when he's sacked. Yes, he WILL BE sacked. I don't see our problems with protection going away in one game.

Our secondary will play well as well.

I predicted the Phins losing to the Bills and I was way off. So I am doing it again in the best interrest of the team. Jets 28 Phins 21. Don't forget it was Rex Ryans D that destroyed our Wildcat last year in the playoffs. I think he will do it again forcing more throws.

Did you know Crow taste like chicken?

Mark Sanchez throws 2 ints, we dominate the ground game and time of posession, grind out a win 21-13

Ok Ranger ... way to take one for the team. Here's to another healthy helping of crow sandwich!

FINS WIN < BUF Loss + JETS Loss > FINS WIN

We were playing scrubs at OG at the time. We couldn't run out of the standard set. Our pass protection was breaking down because we couldn't run and we couldn't pass block in the middle of our line.

Things will be different this time.

Mark Sanchez was semi exposed versus Sharper's method of QB Reading. Seems like Sanchez has that rookie problem of locking onto his target so hopefully our D learns from the Saints game, especially the safeties and can guage where passes are heading simply by watching Sanchez's eyes.

On the offensive side, we're gonna have to keep a balanced attack and throw in some playaction, slants and quick screens, to counter that blitz. This strategy didn't work to well last time we tried it versus the Chargers, but Henne is growing by leaps and bounds and will be prepared this time.

Prediction:
Dolphins win a Monday night Classic 23-20 in overtime!

Dolphins 24 Jets 17

Ronnie 90 yards rushing 1 TDs
Ricky 80 yards 1 TD

Henne throws for over 150 yards this time and connects with ginn for his second td pass of the season.

I don't see sanchez been too successfull against this dolphins defense if we can put pressure on him but lets also realize that the jets have a way better offensive line than the bills.

A Dolphin win coupled with a very possible Patroit loss in Denver and the Phins move into first in the division. Even a Patriot win would still put Miami in second, not a bad place to be heading into the bye week. Last week some here were posting about Miami getting a top ten draft pick. This week those threads have slipped off the bottom of the page and everybody is a Dolphin fan again. This is the week that defines the season.

I predict we will see Hartline a lot in this game. For some reason I get the feeling that Ginn continues to drop in the coaches eyes and Hartline might be moving into a starter role. Just my opinion Aqua don't lose control on me. Just my opinion

I don't think so. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't it go.

1. Totals wins by division (intra and otherwise)
2. 1st tiebreaker - Division wins

So on. If so ... If we beat the jets and the Pats win:

Phins are 2-3
Pats & Jets are 3-2
We then get a shot at the lead when we play each of them and new Orleans in the next 3 games

I had thought that you were referring to division record. We would have the best division record and when the overall record starts evening out toward the end of the year, that will be the most important won-loss record.

A win here could get us right back in the thick of things.

Unfortunately, it's the Jets. I have a bad feeling about this one...

If the jets beat us at home with a rookie QB then we do not deserve to win the afc east again...

We better don't lay back on this game. We better bring in the house just like they will.......

Hopefully joey porter is back for this game. Jt had some kind of injury as well. But Jt is always nicked up. No biggie.

Release cameron wake on this game. Let him have quite a few snaps.

NE lost yesterday and we are facing the Jets. How much better can this game be. I my heart is racing and it is only noon. If we win tonight with a strong showing we are definanetely contenders this year. Also I am tied in my fantasy football with an 89-89 tie and he has the Jets D I need Miami to beat up that D so that I can get the win. It's a win win all around. Oh an I won on Sunday ( I play every Sunday in a legue) I got the winning TD with 2 minutes left.

Triple win good week
