So, what's our defensive lineup now?

Porter sits out the game, and Wake has 3 sacks!! Taylor gets 2. Do we bench Porter and play Wake?

Davis plays for Smith and gets a pick-6. Allen got 2 INTs. Do we start Davis over Smith now?

Tough decisions!! Nice problems to have.

Wake needs to play more that is for sure but having Wake, Porter and Taylor on the field at the same time would be best.

As for the rookie combos of Smith and Davis they both play corner why not play them opposite each other. That would be our optimal line up

I was at the game:

1) Wake has to play!!!! Period!!!!
3 sacks in the NFL is no fluke!!
Porter needs to get healthy and can come in on 3rd down...

2) Davis has fantastic insticts. This is a skill that can not be taught...

Davis and Smith will continue to rotate,,,,,I think that in dime and nickel....both of them should be on the field!

Go Phins!!!

Wake not only had 3 sacks but 6 solo tackles and 4 tackles for loss and 2 QB hits.

It was a great night but it was against backup tackles. Still very reassuring for the future. Nice.

The best part is we have a top 3 rushing defense thru 4 weeks.

They said JT had 2.5 sacks.

Davis reminded me of a young Sam Madison. He had tremendous instincts as well! Maybe Smith will be another Surtain drinking smiley

nothing changes. you don't lose your job to injury. sets a bad precedent.

Tell that to Drew Bloedsoe. How do you think many stars are discovered in the NFL? That's what allowed Dwight Stephenson to start.

Gives us some fresh legs and a lot for opposing QBs to consider.

As noted, good problems to have. We still have coverage growth, and I'm hoping to see this defense show up again next week. QWe're going to need pressure and coverage.

If we do Sanchez could have a long day.
