The Samoans are very family oriented and extended family is really important to them as well. I feel badly for him. They are a kind and friendly people and it will take a long time to rebuild. My son spent 4 months over there and I visited him for 2 weeks. The surf resort he worked for was totally destroyed as well as the village next door. A very sad time for the Samoans. A tragedy like this has of way of putting everything in perspective. Suddenly football doesn't seem as important.

I hope everything is well. As well, my prayers go out to his family and friends.

Please dont take this in a harsh way in light of this monumental tragedy, but I seen where Paul said he was going to play with a chip on his shoulder this weekend due to the recent tragedy back home.

My question is, Where are the old school players who played *EVERY* week with a chip on their shoulder? It didnt take something like this to get them fired up.

I remember one time Bryan Cox said he plays like the opposing team had ransacked his home, raped his wife and killed his kids. Now that is a little crazy, but, I think we get the point. Butkus, Singletary, even Walter Payton, Mean Joe Green, all the old school players played with a chip on their shoulders. Their are a few today, but very few. Ray Lewis, Brian Dawkins....and a couple more, but thats about it.

Once again, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all others in that region.

Aqua soliai is mainly a run stuffer and we've stopped the run so far as good as anybody in the league.

I see your point though. Player should play with a chip on their shoulders every week.
