to see on the sidelines, Chad Pennington huddling his offensive players, getting them all on the same page, planning out the offense. I'm sad he wont be out there Sunday afternoons anymore. Chad took command of the team, something fans hadn't seen any resemblance of since Marino. Chad would get in the faces of 'his' players, holding them accountable for their play, demanding they give it theyre all. im gonna miss that aspect of our offense, here's hoping Chad Henne will have the same affect on 'his' team.
"I don't really care what happened in the past, I'm not afraid of challenges. I look forward to them." - T. Sparano
Chad pennington did all that you said. I agree. But where has it taken us?
The fact is , we are not talented enough on this team offensivelly. Or defensivelly. The mess the previous coaches left on this team doent get fixed in one or two years.
If chad henne is successfull to any degree with this offense then i will believe he is in fact the future qb of this team.
Our Oline got beat in the first game. Has been doing a better job in the last couple of games though of run blocking. But then again it might have to do something with the complicated scheme that is the wildcat.
Soon teams will start to stack the line with a safety and no more wildcat either.
I have sung his praises on multiple occasions here. Chad Pennington is the classiest guy in the NFL. He will be sorely missed. I only hope that Chad Henne spent long enough working behind him to learn enough to emulate him on and off the field. Here is wishing Chad a speedy recovery and continued success in whatever endeavors he may seek. If we are lucky he will be back with the Dolphins, perhaps as a coach because I believe he could be a fantastic head coach one day.

I'm confused. Will Pennington not be traveling with the team? Will he not be on the sidelines at home games? I know he won't be playing, but is he gone altogether? I hope not!! I want to see him there mentoring Henne. It's not like the Dolphins aren't still paying him!!
Well he has surgery he has to get done, which mean lots of doctor visits, he also has kids, and family he needs to take care of which will consume most of his time, after surgery, and good theropy he might come with the team, but i dought he will go on any trips with the team, and prob only make a couple games at home.
My team in falling apart before my eyes. I know it has only been 3 games but the WR's not stepping up game after game is going to be the death of us.
Even if the defense saves the day game after game, we still need to score well deserved points in the air...not with run after run after run and college trick plays...That sh*t gets old after a while.

He may not spend as much time at practice, but he should be there on Sunday.
