Ok, fellow fin fans... any advice on the following situation:
I have:
J. Cotchery @ NO
V. Jackson @ Pit
K. Walter vs. Oak
B. Marshall vs. Dal
I need to pick 3 from the list in a PPR league. I'm leaning towards the top 3, but Marshall looks to be finally picking it up and Jackson is a tough play @ Pit.
Well Dallas, will be in a shootout, so Marshall, Jackson, and Walter, the Jets just dont have enough pass abilities to realy factor in cotchery. Sure he'll prob get 4 or 5 receptions, but maybe for 50 yards or so, there a run first team, with solid D play.
I forsee cowpokes are gonna be tossing INT'S to the broncs..so if denver establishes a big lead, they might turn to knowson and the ground game...not leaving many looks at marshall.
on the other hand the Saints have a very underrated Defense, I keep seeing them shutting down teams that try to keep up with their high powered Offense. Cotchery will get some looks, but will be covered heavily.
Start Marshall, Dallas loves to throw, and is down Jones, leaving a injured Barber, and Choice to run, they will be throwing more this game, and force Denver to throw more, and Orton will be looking for Marshall. Cotchery is not a horrible choice, but this game is the first loss for the Jets, and will be a Learning experiance for the Dirty Sanchez. Marshall will nab around 6 or 7 receptions for around 80 yards, and prob a TD. Tough call either way, but i go for true wideout material over a #2 wr anyday.
