Money in a salary Cap environment is a big deal. Especially since we just signed the #1 overall pick to a HUGE contract the year before.

Think about the big contracts we have: Jake Long, Ronnie Brown, Ted Ginn, All top 10 picks with top 10 contracts.

So trading the 25th 1st round pick for a guy who wants to get paid like a top 10 pick wasn't a wise move for us.

We don't want to get into a situation where we are 1-2 pieces away and we can't hang onto the pieces we have.

You gotta build through the draft until you are 1 piece away.

Jason Allen picked #16 also makes alot of money.

We can let Ronnie walk and open up a ton of cap space. Especially if you think White runs the wildcat and if Lex Hillard is the real deal. No reason at all to keep Ronnie.

Miami's offense is all but set EXCEPT for a #1 WR. O-line makes $153 mill and is going nowhere. Henne is in place. Ginn and Bess as #2 and #3 WR's work. Tight ends we have too many of them. RB we have great depth. It all comes down to a #1 WR!!!

No kidding, but we didn't trade him when he still had value. What a waste!

White can't run the wildcat like Ronnie. He's too small to run up the gut. Regardless, I wouldn't feel too worried if Ronnie is let go. Ricky still has one more year, and then we have Cobbs AND Hilliard.

That's your opinion, but I'd like to see how Smiley and Thomas hold up this year and if Grove's mistakes are finally under control.

we just ran the ball down the throats of a PLAYOFF team for over 200+ yards and held the ball for 45+ min. I think the oline is set and like it or not, nobody is going anywhere because they all make too much money (except Thomas). IMposible to move 4/5th's of that o-line. WE ARE STUCK WITH THEM!!!!!! And they are fine and not an issue

Or better yet, trade for one.

But britt had a good game today. He missed that long one from Collins, but otherwise he caught everything and he was double teamed too. He's only 21 so he'll get even better. Hakeem I think is hurt, but he'll be back and he was playing well prior to that.

Johnnie Knox went where?

Wr's with no ability to get separation, and that can't make the big catch are a recipe of failure
