Week 1 was dismal, but our defence wasn't at fault for that one and we lost to a Top 10 Team in Atlanta, who are loaded offensively!
Week 2...our offence controlled the clock and our defence simply couldn't play pass defence...all be it against arguablly the greatest QB of all time...who will definitely shatter that old prick's TD record.
0-2...season on the line against a Chargers team looking pretty ordinary at best!
Look at our division...do the Pats and Bills scare you?
Only the Jets have really looked impressive on both sides of the ball.
Hopefully this is a breakout game for Ronnie and we can start to squeak out some wins. Next week it begins and continues back in Miami against the Bills!
who cares? Seriously, who cares that they are Top 10 teams. They are on our schedule. We play who we play. There is NO MORAL VICOTRY to losing to Top 10 teams.
In this league we keep score in WINS and LOSSES!!! Period. You get no brownie points for losing to good teams
Superbowl or bust, not oh well it was the Colts, LOOK AT THE JETS, YOU THINK RYAN SAID, WELL IF WE LOOSE ITS TO THE PATS. NO THEY WENT OUT, AND BUSTED THE PATS IN THE CHOPS, AND MADE THEM THERE BITCH'S. WE CANT DO THAT, WE ARE MISTER CONSERVATIVE FOOTBALL.
You're right...this sucks, but I'm not giving up hope...most did after last years 2nd game against Arizona...yes it's a tougher schedule, but anything can happen.
After all...these AFC teams have looked anything but elite:
Tennessee
New England
San Diego
Pittsburgh ( YES...they lost to the Bears)
Can the defence be fixed? We'll see next week...HELL, they can't be that tired, they only were on the field 1/4 of the game!
Colts are not a top ten team. They looked bad against the Jags and bad against us! They have a very good offense and a sorry defense. They won't go far!
Colts were exposed yesterday. It reminds me of those years with Marino where he had no defense or running game to work with. At least Marino had receivers, though! If the Colts didn't have Manning they'd be one of the bottom 3 teams in the league.
I know it's CBS Power Rankings, but they have the COLTS# 2 and the FALCONS #3. Both 2-0..with solid QB's...GREAT TE's and D's that bend, but don't break.
I really didn't think that the COLTS D played all that bad...Yes they gave up a tonne of yards on the ground, but isn't that what our team is built to do? Our $150 million dollar O line had better create holes.
Anyways, still positive...I really think we beat an overrated and badly coached Chargers team this Sunday!
Run Ronnie Run...JT should be good for a couple of sacks against their patchwork O line!
