I just came back from my first NFL game Jets vs Patriots and had a great time. I will be going to more games. I gotta tell you guys though, the Jets defense is scary. They are playing with a serious sense of violance. If our Oline and offense don't start clicking soon we are going to get our asses handed to us when we play them!

Plain and simple, the Jets have spent the money to sign big FA's we get Gibril Wilson , Jason Taylor, & Wake?

No big playmaking WR, no Faneca, no offense, Jopefully the D is improved, Ryan made them look bad, they did shut down turner

NYJ looks like the team to beat this year in the East, over the Pats.

the Jets have played the fact that 2010 is going to be UNCAPPED perfectly. They spent the big bucks knowing there is no consequence if the guy flames out...they have addressed every weak area on their team and were trying to add Brandon Marshall up until Week 1 games began (can't fault them for lack of efford). They drafted a franchise QB high and didn't waste any time and put him on the field (ie Ryan and Flacco).

Channing Crowder was yapping about you don't win championships in April or May. Well you might not win a championship in April/May....but you lay the groundwork to building a winning team.

The Jets have hit a home-run. We have yet too. The fact we are signing Earnest Wilford and the Gabril Wilson's of the world cause the Dolphins are a financial disaster unable to spend real money. And the Jets are willing to go over and above to steal Calvin Pace from us, go get Alan Faneca, Bart Scott and go pay REAL players to come make an impact.

Miami has done a great job drafting in recent years, but Jeff Ireland is highly overrated when it comes to offseason moves not the draft

hmmm I will never understand the Earnest Wilford signing because he was a non-factor in Jacksonville, however; I have to admit that I thought signing Gibril was going to be great. I though getting him over here was going to put us over the top. I was wrong. The Phins were wrong. I don't blame Miami though, everyone thought Gibril was going to be a good pick up.

The Jets got lucky. I mean, people (not I) thought Matt Leignart was going to be great. I did think that Vince Young was going to do well and that isn't panning out right now.

Is difficult to predict these things. I think the Jets got very lucky with Sanchez.

It still remains that they are the best team in the AFC East though. thats for sure.

Sanchez is good, but he's a rookie and can be exposed. He'll be a terror next year. Or maybe even later in the season. I wasn't overly impressed with their running game, it was good, not great. Their strength is in their defense. Their defense is unbelievable. They played THAT good and they were on the field all day long. No hands on hips. They flat out played all day.
