Power rankings are a joke.

I was trying to figure out how we dropped from 16 to 1. Didn't know that was possible

We only fell 3 spots to number 19 because they think a lot higher of the Falcons than most of us do. Maybe we are wrong about the Falcons though. Maybe they are better than we give them credit for. I have them picked to go pretty far in the playoffs this year...Of course that assumes Michael turner will get back to his 150yrd rushing days!

There overhyped.

Sorry bout (typo) it was a drop from 16 to 19. Week 1 rankings are always a joke, but as the year progresses they gain a bit of meaning.


1. We played below expectations. If I honestly had that job of ranking, after looking at week one performances ... I would have lowered the FINS below the Jets, Bills and pats hands down.

The fact that they didn't implies that the rankers believe as we do that the FINS did not play up to their capabilities in week 1.

2. Week two opponent match ups will shed light on JETS & PAT matchup and the FINS will have a tough nut to crack with the COLTs in town.

- Bills will face an easier Tampa team,

Rankings do not mean anything. Our rankings were totally different from week one and two....................to week three and on last year....

That's cool.

I don't always agree with the judgements but I do like having teams ranked.

The media & and the piundits are often so far in their blather thant the rankings kind of force putting all of it together.

Just like the college polls, I often disagree, but I like it as a starting points for comparisons and discussion.

Thunder must be heard living betrween those ears.

I get the point but would never have gotten there via that path.

Another performance or so like last week and you may get your wish.


That said: I'm expecting a different team out these this week.

After one game, and everyone is pouting. I tell you what when we dont make playoffs, then ill agree with your statement, untill otherwise superbowl bound.

One different ranking is for sure and that is that we have the No. 1 toughest schedule based on strength of schedule than any other team in the NFL.

Yes, Jonathan, that means a really number 1 and not a number 1 based on last year being a rookie season.
