Last year the Lions go 4-0 in the preseaosn then go on to go 0-16.
Buffalo's first team offense doesn't score a TD all preseason, now they are 5 min away from beating the Pats in the Pats house.
Proving once again preseason games are a complete waste of time on any level and MUST be removed totally. I have a feeling the NEW CBA when it does happen will make sure there are no preseason games period!!!
Mike in all seriousness, this post is stupid, and im not cutting you down, but seriously look at what your saying. With no preseason, then how the hell do you know what talent guys on your team can do? Teams start out around 80 men, and use preseason to make a spot or not, and dont tell me they have training camp, because we all know about Merling.
Pre-season games are a waste of time. Most players skip the first couple. Most don't play in the final one. Coaches judge NOTHING on them, they make their cuts based on practices.
Fans hate having to pay full price to watch garbage. It's a way to rip off the fans.
There isn't a need for any of them on any level. Teams can do organized scrimmages against other teams and get just as much out of watching that, AND there is little to NO risk of injury with less hitting
actually NO. The commish has said he is changing the preseason with the next CBA and the Union agrees with him on this issue. Either only 2 games or getting rid of it totally. He doesn't want fans being FORCED to pay to games they don't want to go to.

Got a link to back that up? Otherwise I'm just going to assume you're talking out of your ass.

I've heard so many things about what to do with preseason games, but NEVER have I heard of the complete removal. Again, do you have a link?
Heard Goodell on Mad Dog Radio say it. Heard him on Dan Patrick's show say it. Every option is on the table. From removing 1 game, 2 games, or all games!
