Why haven't we seen Ginn in the Wildcat?

Ted Ginn used to play QB.

Seems like with his speed and also a threat to pass that he could cause some real issues for defenses.

Not sure why we haven't seen or at least discussed this before.

Thoughts?

Too small. He is 20 lbs lighter than Pat White and 50 lighter than Ronnie Brown.

Why would you want to put Ginn in that position when he needs all his focus on WR. This will be the defining year for him, that is what he needs to be focused on.

The Wildcat? We can only speculate at this point. Keep it in so defenses have to spend time on it, but do we really think it will be bread and butter?

I think we will have some wrinkles to it and i believe it will work out pretty well. Especially if Pat White comes through. It will be fun to watch.

I hope so too. That was his bread and butter in college.

Barrying any more holding penalties he will have at least 3 long returns IMO.

We just need to get better in special teams as far as the blocking on returns and holding penalties......And we need better coverage as well..

Just one thing. I wonder if this has more to do with coaching than the talent of players available?

PS. I would like to think we have upgraded the talent of special team players....In fact i believe we havesmiling smiley

I have noticed that you wrote "barrying" in the past. You mean "barring". The word "barrying" has a completely different meaning especially if you put "Spanish" infront of it.

He may be 20 lbs lighter but he is also a whole lot faster.

Big plays are about getting advantage on matchups, th ewildcat takes advantage of direction change and leaves dbs in isolation and often time an lb in isolation.

Seems like it Ginn could be a mismatch with advantage to Miami.
