And still think he should be the starting QB over Pennington, but what do you do with Pennington.

Pennington really isn't that old. If he can stay healthy and continue to lead us to WINS, I'm all for signing him to a long term contract.

We can trade Henne and groom another young QB later on down the line...we know what we have with Pennington.

We don't have the WR's to take advantage of Henne's strong arm anyway. Letting Henne sit this year and hopefully we get him some weapons for next year when he takes over.

Henne is good.....but in time he will get his shot. In time. This is Penny's team

Let henne sit another year....Although he is almost ready IMO.....But pennington deserves after last year to be the starter at least for this year.

Henne showed on that game that he just doesnt get rattled....He got sacked fumbled and kept his cool like nothing happened...And he got
pounder really good....By jake longs side...The blind side.....

Henne is a keeper folks....And with yet another year he will get even better......Another receiver in the draft and maybe free agency...The OL is young and will be more improved...

Henne is set. His time will come.

RESPONSE: As Ringo says:

No, no, no, no, I don't smoke it no more.
I'm tired of waking up on the floor.
No thank you please, it only makes me sneeze
And then it makes it hard to find the door.

Too bad Ringo didn't listen to his own words until MANY years later.

Well we cant trade Pennington for anything next year because of F/A. So what do you do? You cant let him walk if he has another solid year! I'm guessing a 4 year extension, and we could trade him after 2011 if next year he has another solid season, but why trade if we have sucess!! I think this will all come down to how we fair this season.

Hey, just consider how many years we went without a real QB. What a problem to have now!! To many good QBs!

Too many QB's... Too many RB's... Too many pass rushers...too many CB's...god bless the Trifecta!

Just need to find/ develop a few WR's.

Henne can lead our team over Switzerland into France, just like when the Germans invaded Pearl Harbor.

He is not that unknown.....We have seen him in pre season and he has been able to move the team and score points.

Even when we drafted him he wasn't unknown. He was a 4 year starter at michigan. Not many QBs are 4 year starters in college.

Im not 100 percent positive either but from what he is shown it looks like he is going to work out with the right OL and receivers around him.

Unknown to me is a player ive never seen play.

Jay Feidler looked like the next coming of Mark Brunnell in the preseason (and one cleanup game vs Miami 62-7) but when he got to be a starter in the NFL he was just average.

I agree. He was never bad but his numbers were average. I still love the one play where he scored on a rushing TD on the last play of the game vs the Raiders. That is one of my favorite Dolphin moments.

Feidler just looked better in hindisght comparison because of all the scrubs that came after him that sucked so bad.

Green, Beck, feely, culpepper, lemon, harrington, and there is more.

All of these qbs did less than fielder while playing for miami.

I'm not saying fiedler was marino like. But, I enjoyed a lot of sundays when fiedler was the miami QB. Better put........I had many more good days than bad days.
