The Beast is from the Boston area. (translation: Pats fan). His mommy and daddy gave him lots of money to move to S. FL, go to U of M and pretend to be a broadcaster.

And if you saw what he looked like you'd know how he got his nickname. He has a face and body for radio.

Keep your fingers crossed and hope for quite a few more days like this.

And the saga goes....JA is now officially a draft bust. Luckily, I believe we're making up for it in the last 2 years.

He sounds as if he believes he knows everything. The guy is nothing but a pat fan...

Some caller asked him if he rooted for the phins , he said growing up he rooted for the pats.......

What is he doing here then?

I wish he lived in NE and rooted for the cheaters.

You could feel the hate for the phish in his voice.

We need broadcasters like the MADDOG. We do not need this clowns here!

Agreed Jason Allen has been a bust for quite sometime now

Its the same scenario with Jason Allen and wilford. Cap wise.

Can't wait until their contract runs out so we can realease the 2 bums.

He's doing what most transplants from the Northeast do in south florida: enjoy the weather, yearn for how everything was better where they came from, and root for the teams from their hometown (especially if they're currently doing well). Only difference is someone put a microphone in front of this clown's face.

Agreed, I'll take a homer/former Phin any day. Good thing we have three of them doing the Phins radio broadcast.

That is good news but also one mans opinion...

practice reports...

Davone Bess vs. Vontae Davis. Bess with a short catch over the middle.

Armstrong vs. Davis. Amstrong wins with a catch on a short route.

ArmandoSalguero: Sean Smith said he "killed practice" on Monday evening. I agree. He was very good.

Smith made more plays in mini-camps and had a strong Monday evening practice, but Davis gets to the ball more quickly.-Edgar Thomas

I think we got a couple of good players that will field the secondary for the next decade.

That being said, I think Will Allen is going to have his best year ever. He is looking dominant in practice from reports. Maybe this is the year he starts getting picks in the 5-6 range.

Joe Berger is working with 1st team at RG and Murphy is 2nd.

Sporano says the guys that are playing better will get more reps.

Sporano says Andrew Gardner, who has gotten the most reps of anyone has to change his body. This is similar to what they did with Murphy last year....strip him down in weight and build him back with muscle.

Murphy dropped to 295 in 08 and then put on 20 lbs of muscle in the past year.

I look for Gardner to follow in Murphy's footsteps. He will prob make the team (or practice squad) but spend the whole time changing his body to be ready to compete next year. It will be interesting to see what happens as they are high on Nate Garner as a backup tackle but don't know if they will keep 4 tackles. Garner has more time with this staff under his belt.

Sound like the RG competition is just that...a competition bewteen Berger, Murphy and Thomas.

Andy Alleman is working at 2nd team center while berger is working at RG.

I really hope we dont have to have to count count on joe burger. Im not too sure on this guys ability. If im correct i believe he played for us before and wasn't much of a factor...

The ideal thing would be thomas as the starter and murphy the backup...Yes i know this is obvious.

> Andy Alleman is working at 2nd team center while

Please i wish we do not have to rely on andy alleman for anything this year.....If i had to pick between alleman or EK................I'd choose EK anyday.

LT Long
LG Smilley
C Grove
RG Thomas
RT Carey

Almost the same starters as last year but with the addition of grove makes this unit tougher and better.....If these 5 can stay healthy and thats a big if because 3 of them are injury prone...them been both guards and the center...We will make a move this year....11 and 5 still my prediction smiling smiley
