According to my son, there are many College QBs that run and are not pocket passers. This might bring the new look to the NFL sooner than we think. Out of necessity. I don't keep track as much as most of you so I would like some opinions on this.

I do see this working well with a QB that can run and throw well.

The wildcat will not work as a gimmick, other than by surprise. We cashed that check last year, and it paid big dividends against NE.

I do think it will be used,and will stick around. Not by just Miami either.

Any team that succeeeds will already be successful moving the ball with its base offense. Wildcat gioves the offense a chance for isolation on wrs, or an advantage against the run.

It must be executed very well or it can be defensed ... ala Bal or Arizona. The fins will have new wrinkles, but even betteer they'll have better run blocking and hopefully a matured Pat white.
