When Calais Campbell signed with the Miami Dolphins in June, the 38-year-old future Hall of Famer hoped it’d give him the chance to add a missing piece to his illustrious career: a Super Bowl ring.

But now that the team is 6-8 and its postseason hopes are circling the drain, winning a Super Bowl with the Dolphins is looking like a lost cause. Campbell’s chances at a trip to Super Bowl might not be over, though.

On Wednesday, the six-time Pro Bowler told reporters that it’s possible the Dolphins could release him relatively soon to allow him to sign with a contender.



I think thats a pile of stinky shit IMO. Where you gonna go? Detroit? Winning with that team is almost cheating IMO. You need to play pre season , win with that team after playing ,Sacrificing, its a year long effort at LEAST.

If Miami lets him leave just so he can win elsewhere it proves what losers they are.

I don't blame the guy. We've all had high hopes for Miami only to see them swirl in a toilet year after year.

Looks like we will keep Campbell for at least one more game.

I can certainly blame him. Seems like everyone is concerned about themselves and never the team. With agents like Drew Rousenhaus this game is just getting less and less appealing.
