Offense decent and overcame mistakes.

Defense did a really good job of keeping Stafford and 2 really good WR from really getting going.

that was a good win and much needed.

I refuse to get excited about our chances because it always leads to the big letdown.

That said, if Mostert doesn't get the fumbles we beat Indy and Buffalo and the season looks much different.

The life of a Dolphins fan!

Ps. Grier still needs to go.

Ramsey and Campbell played lights out. I really like the defensive coordinator. He doesnt just bring a blitz every down. He actually adapts to other teams offense.

I stole this from a headline I saw :

"We are back to beating up subpar .500 teams again!! "

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Yeah, I'm with you in terms of not getting excited about our chances (sort of assuming you mean chances of making the playoffs). I can, of course, be persuaded to get excited if their play merits it over the course of the next several weeks. And, as a fan, I'll give them more benefit of the doubt than they probably deserve if they give me a little hope

That said, I am really interested to see whether/how McDaniel & the players can pursue the kind of 2nd half of the season that shows they belong in the conversation for 2025.

Things I need to see:
- Resiliency and the will to win. I feel like I'm seeing 'green shoots' of this over the past 2 games, but it's fragile if barely there.
- Tua better in the pocket. Oddly, I think a big part of this is him getting out of the pocket more. I don't want him to be a rushing QB, obviously, but when he moves a bit to escape pressure he certainly gives the offense a better chance than sitting in and taking sacks or throwing picks. PS - sometimes the win can be rolling away from pressure and throwing it away.
- McDaniel figuring out how to break the lock opposing defenses have on Hill & Waddle.
- Development of young talent. Pisses me off that we had to watch whoever it was last year that replaced Kohou instead of getting Cam Smith reps. He doesn't look amazing, but looks like there's raw material to work with...and that last year was relatively wasted in that regard. Nice to see Chop turning some pressures into sacks. I'm good with Paul backing up Armstead and thankful for Terron's health so far.

Regarding sub-par .500 teams, I'd probably classify the Rams as better than their overall record and entering the game on something of a win streak. But, the headline ain't wrong given our history :-). Both teams had sloppiness, but I feel like if both cleaned it up and basically played around their potential we would have still won.

Ramsey, Campbell and Armstead are the reason I have some hope that we'll see resiliency and will-to-win. They've been there and know what it takes.

No doubt.......and add Ogbah to that list! Came out of retirement and is playing great with a torn bicieps injury!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
