I know I am new to this site and don't post much but I just wanted to get a feel for how others here feel, especially those that get to watch the games most weekends.
I don't get to watch the Phins much because of where I live and I don't feel it is worth the money to spend on Sunday Ticket when the team plays the way it has this season. On another forum, there were some that said that if you are a true fan, you would spend the money no matter what but I just can't do it.
With that said, I guess I just want to ask others this. In what you have seen this year, do you still have hope for this team as it is currently constructed and managed or should it be burned down and started anew?
From reading, I know some do not think the GM is worth keeping and I have never been enamored with McDaniels so I would guess the mgmt is luke warm at best. As for Tua and the rest of the skill player, I just don't believe they have the toughness or will to win big games and consistantly in the NFL.
So, I guess, good or bad, just let me know what you think needs to happen!

Sunday Ticket for you is not going to enhance your viewing pleasure of the Dolphins. Watching them has proven them to be very disappointing and I live a relatively short distance from the stadium and watch them every game day on TV--seldom go to the game in person these days.
As for the team's success this season--I can't imagine things turning around. The loss today should not have happened. Cardinals are simply an average team all around and they put points on the board against a porous defense. Grier has routinely avoided building top quality big men in the trenches on O and D. Coaching seems to be lacking and physical and mental toughness seems to be the result of it. I remain unimpressed with McDaniels as HC.
100% time to fire Grier. McDaniel's job is safe due to the extension he got.
I look at the Lions and Texans when comparing rebuilds. They accumulated draft capitol and actually rebuilt their teams through it. The Texans had the offensive and defensive rookies of the year last year. We took Charles Harris instead of TJ Watt because Grier "saw something special" in him.
We could and should have taken Graham Barton at C this year but went for a guy that had very few sacks but "disrupted" plays with his pass rush.
McDaniel built a system around his limited QB and horrific oline. They are what they are. You give Tua a real oline where he doesn't HAVE to get rid of the ball in 2.5 seconds and he'd be fine. That said, Flores went 5-11 with a bunch of 3rd stringer UPS drivers. McDaniel deserves 1 more year without Grier picking the players to prove himself.
Don't waste your money on Sunday Ticket. I say that because I just did and I'm having buyer's remorse. You can't cancel it either.
I have a tee time with friends at 1:30 next Sunday. THAT never would have happened in the past. Now, I believe, that's going to become commonplace.

and there are others who say the same, but substituting the word 'sucker' for 'true fan'.
Some people also say you aren't a true fan unless you go to x number of games per person per year.
It's all relative to one's own life situation: logistically, financially, schedule, etc. I certainly don't judge like that (I myself have never had Sunday Ticket and don't plan to get it).
Then again I'm old enough to remember life without cable or satellite tv (there were rabbit ear antennae, four channels available, home games were blacked out). So I'd either listen to AM radio, hope I could catch highlights on the news or the Don Shula Show the next day.

I have absolutely no clue as to how Grier has kept his job for this long. His overall draft record is mediocre. His free agency signings are at best underwhelming. The few good players that he did draft (the every blind squirrel finds an acorn theory) he manages to not keep. This team will never amount to anything with him in charge of personnel. The reality is that if Ross knew what he was doing (he doesn't), he'd fire Grier and hire someone from an organization that has a record of drafting well. Let that GM decide whether McDaniel stays or goes. This team will never contend with Grier making the calls. All of that said, I have no doubt there will be no changes made. Grier will continue to blow first round picks (Austin Jackson, Noah Igbinoghene, Charles Harris, Chop Robinson, etc. etc.) and Ross will stand as proof positive that the definition of insanity is truly doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

He has pictures of ROSS watching the team.......Porkys style......through a shower peephole in the shower. He particulary likes TUAs side of the shower..........
This season is over. Maybe not mathematically but realistically. We had a complete tear-down and rebuild and we're right back where we started. Oh sure, we got 2 back-to-back play-off appearances but, that was ONLY because the Patriots are back down to Earth and in no position to play spoiler. McD is a phony, He got the first play-off appearance basically with the team that Flores built and with the exact same record as Flores' last season. I wish now I had never spent the money on NFL Game-pass. I only got it to watch the Dolphins but, at this point I'd rather watch re-runs of Gilligan's Island. We have one of the highest payrolls in the NFL, loaded with aging over-priced stars and this is where we are again, ready for a rebuild. Pathetic. I hope everybody gets fired, including do-nothing Marino. Ross spent untold millions on over-the-hill ex stars and will likely do nothing about it because, ROSS IS NOT A FOOTBALL GUY. He only seems to be interested in making money.
