This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
I know its tough to get excited anymore.....but its Monday Night and we have a new QB Im excited about. I hope he does well enough to force TUA into retirement.
Its the Oline. Look at how much time Tennessee has to throw and run. Tennessee isnt the same team they used to be, but very well coached compared to Miami.
Newsflash to Tyreek.....its not working side line to sideline.......run North south.
Ross has blundered again! Thinking that Tua could be the future of Dolphins success. Old story--Tua was damaged goods coming out of college and concussions revealed susceptibility to further injury.
The stupidity of management to ignore building a first rate offensive line, year after year, is unforgivable. Watching old footage of Czonka plowing through the D time after time, knocking LBs and backs on their ass is a far cry from the Dolphins' running game of today. Speed is a good thing but might and toughness a-la Zonk sure would have made the game easier for Huntley. It was a hopeless scenario for him with little time to prep and add a crappy O-line and we saw how lame the offense was tonight.
McDaniel is a pathetic soul, IMO. He looks like a deer in the headlights when he has his head up, but he's mostly buried in his play card thinking about plays that don't work with the QB playing. Certainly can't pound the ball--nope that won't work. How about a few flips to the WR who has no blockers on his side? Nope that doesn't work. Face it, McDaniel is over his head as a HC. He doesn't have, to coin an old phrase,"the right stuff."
Nobody on this board expected anything special tonight and we weren't disappointed. The far away looks of the players tell volumes. No luck with Tua as QB, no luck with a weak O-line so we can run the ball--lousy plays being called. Guys--they are lost and nothing McDaniel can mutter in the locker room or post game will erase that "lost look" and feeling of despair.
Grier should step down now. He has failed miserably with developing an offensive line. The trenches are weak.
4th and 1. You have a healthy bull of a QB. And McDaniels throws a slant to Hill.
McDaniels thinks hes a boy genuis. Watch me razzle dazzle you...... NOPE.
We are watching a great collection of athletes ....on paper we are a Top 5 team easy. But this isnt a Team. Lack of any direction, coaching exacerbated by a piss poor Oline thats constantly ignored.
