Re-discovering college football

Disclaimer : This is not Dolphins related.

But it is football related. And since college football has basically become professional football ( the kids are getting paid. A lot. ) maybe I’m not out of line bringing up this subject. Moreover, as I write this we are about to enter a weekend where there will be no Dolphins football. Some would argue that there also wasn’t any Dolphins football during the game against the bills last night.

My interest in college football has fluctuated over the years. I watched it a lot before and after my own stint as a college student, but since then it’s been a a lot of take it or leave it with me and the NCAA

I don’t know if it’s because I now have access to a lot more NCAA games (I get the SEC channel, the ACC channel, etc). It could be my strange fascination with the new 12-team playoff format—I used to hate that the teams were ranked on a mere popularity contest. It could be that I’m fed up with the NFL altogether. But lately I enjoy watching a game between two schools I would not have cared about only a few years ago. So I’m going to enjoy some NCAA football this weekend.

Who knows, maybe this new habit of mine will make me more informed when the next Draft rolls around.

See you in a little bit over a week, Dolphins! And get well soon , Tua.

Many, many years ago I would watch the Hurricanes (on TV) as much as possible, but every year they disappointed. Over the last few years, they would be rated in the Top 25, but then blow it. They are 2-0 right now, and should be 3-0 after this weekend, but the only good team they have played thus far is Florida.

They do have a heck of a QB in Cam Ward, but let's see how long his outstanding play will last.

I wouldn't abandon ship yet. TUA needs to let the Dolphins go. He got his money . Right now hes like this guy who keeps going back to this chick. He knows it will never lead anywhere but he shows up every few months gets her all excited then like Ricky Bobbies dad.....will leave as soon as things start to get good.
Do tbe right thing. For everyone including your brain.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
