Vonte Davis NOT ARRESTED

He was arrested on June 9th in Illinois for driving without a valid license and unnecessary vehicular noise. That was the report. Vonte's name and address are on the police report.

BUT.....Vonte says it wasn't him. The Dolphins say it wasn't him cause he wasn't in Illionis that day he was in Miami with the coaching staff. June 9th was an OTA day and a rookie symposium till 3:30pm. Making it almost impossible for him to fly and be in Illinois by 6:30pm driving and being arrested. Then BACK in Miami on June 10th for a 7am workout.

Vonte's wallet was stolen weeks before and he did report it. So VONTE thinks someone found his wallet and used his identity and the person may look similar to him. Causing some confusion.

Maybe it was him and it was just someone that looked like him practicing with the Dolphins. Perhaps there is a silver lining to all of this and we now have another stud corner in the mix.
