Former Dolphins Executive Tannenbaum has suggested Miami trade Waddle even up for CB McDuffie (Chiefs). IMO it sounds interesting, but not very smart. Sure, if X is no longer with the Fins, a DB will be needed, however, Waddle is a very important piece of the offense. Besides, Hill may have maybe two more years in Miami, then Waddle will be our WR1. T. Hill doesn't think trading Waddle is such a good idea, either.

The majority of the mock drafts I have seen has Miami drafting an OL at pick 21, and some have another OL going in the second round, also. No one is sure what (C) Williams is going to do, so a C will be needed. Also T. Armstead may or may not retire. Even if he doesn't, he can't be trusted to remain on the field, due to his constant injuries. The best OL available should be drafted.

We have a lot of players that will be free agents, with Miami being over $51M in the hole. They have a lot of work ahead of them.

I hadn't realized it, but Richmond Webb is still not in the HOF. Puzzling, as he was one of the best OTs around. He needs to get voted in ASAP. The voting committee seems to have issues with Dolphins players.

You are correct, he is long overdue. Webb was amazing. A lot of our linemen and players at other positions have gotten hosed over by the HOF. Only two from the 1970s are in there (Langer and Little) but there should be at least two more (my votes would go to Keuchenberg and Norm Evans from that era).

In other news it's being reported the phins won't tag Wilkins and let him test the market.

Grier, with all his trades and contract extensions, is rebuilding the rebuild letting Wilkins and Hunt walk. When he finally hits on a pick he seems to find a way to screw it up.

I really dislike Grier.

Wilkins goes.....you might as well let Van Ginkel go too. Wilkins gets double and tripled teamed.....it opened up lanes for Van Ginkle and Sieler.

Heart and soul of this ball club. TRUSTA ME on that.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Doesn't seem like Miami is ever good at keeping good players that they draft. This past season was an opportunity to be really competitive but for various reasons including some coaching blunders and especially injuries, that ship has sailed. I predict that it'll suck being a Dolphins fan next season.

I wholeheartedly agree. Because of the cap it looks like Miami is heading towards the bottom again.

We all wanted to keep Wilkins, including the Fins, but Miami is in the hole with the cap, and they just don't have the money to keep him.

You don't lose a player like him. You build a team around him.many other places you could make up the difference.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
