I'm a self proposed lover of the defensive side of the ball. My favorite player is Zack Thomas. I love nothing more then a crushing good hit. Not a dirty one.....but a really nice well timed stop is the essence of football IMO.

This kind of sanction, suspending a player in his prime will ruin the game.

You know dirty players when you see them. Low blows are the worst. But zi watched this play several times. It's a great hit but the reciever ducked down as he aimed for the shoulder.Pentalty? Sigh.....whatever. but suspended for the rest of the season!?

Every penalty he recieved this season was reversed. Think the NFL is really killing this game.These plays occur in a fraction of a second. To expect a defensive player to reverse course would really dumb down the sport. Make it easier to score points. Is that the real objective?
